Terms of Service

Who we are
Triptic is operated by Triptic, an independent project that is not yet incorporated ("Triptic", "we", "us"). You can reach us at contact@triptic.travel. These terms are the agreement between you and us for using triptic.travel and anything else we offer under the Triptic name.
By using Triptic, with or without an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and who we share it with. If you do not agree, please do not use Triptic.
What Triptic is
Triptic is a trip planner. You describe the trip you want in a chat, and Triptic researches places, flights and hotels and builds a day-by-day itinerary on a map. It is a planning tool, not a travel agent: we do not sell travel, take bookings or take payment for anything you book.
AI-written plans can be wrong
Your itinerary is written by an AI model working from third-party data. It can be wrong or out of date: a place may have closed, moved or changed its hours, a route may take longer than shown, and a suggestion may not suit you. It is a starting point, not professional travel advice.
Check anything that matters before you rely on it - opening hours, entry requirements, visas, health and safety advice, accessibility, and every detail of a booking - with the provider or an official source.
Prices and availability
Prices, fares, rates and availability come from third parties and are shown as they were when we looked. They change constantly and are indicative, not a quote. The price that counts is the one the provider shows you at checkout.
Bookings and commissions
When you follow a link to book a flight, hotel or anything else, you leave Triptic. The booking is between you and that provider, on their site and under their terms, cancellation rules and privacy policy. We are not a party to it and cannot change, cancel or refund it.
Some of those links are affiliate links: if you book through one, the provider may pay Triptic a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it is how Triptic stays free to use.
Your account
You can plan without an account. To save trips across devices you sign in with Google; we never see your Google password. An account is for one person: do not share it, and do not create accounts for anyone else. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Google account secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it.
You must be at least 16 to create an account.
Using Triptic fairly
Please do not:
- scrape, copy or harvest Triptic's content or data by automated means
- create trips or send messages in bulk or by script, or otherwise use Triptic at a volume no person would
- try to get around rate limits, access controls or anything else that keeps Triptic running
- interfere with, overload, probe or attack the service or the people using it
- use Triptic for anything unlawful, or to create content that is harmful, abusive or infringes someone's rights
- resell or repackage Triptic, or present its output as your own product, without our written permission
Your content
What you type into Triptic and the trips you build with it stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and use them to run Triptic for you, including sending them to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, such as the AI model that writes your plan. You are responsible for what you enter, so please do not include anything you are not entitled to share, or sensitive details about other people.
Sharing a trip publicly
You can choose to share a trip publicly. When you do, you give Triptic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display and adapt a version of that trip for as long as it stays public. We remove personal details from that version first: names, ages, where you are travelling from, your budget, flight numbers and exact dates.
A public trip can be found by anyone. It may be indexed by search engines and read by AI assistants, and it may appear in their results.
You can make a shared trip private again at any time, and we will stop publishing it. Copies that search engines or others have already made may take time to disappear, and we cannot control those.
Our intellectual property
Triptic itself - the software, the design, the name and logo, and the content we create - belongs to us or our licensors. These terms let you use Triptic as offered; they do not give you any other rights in it. Maps, photos, place data and other third-party material stay with their owners, under their terms.
Disclaimers
Triptic is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that it will suit your purposes. Some places do not allow these disclaimers, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Triptic is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses that come from relying on a plan without checking it, from a booking you make with a provider, or from a provider's prices, availability or conduct. Our total liability to you for anything relating to Triptic is limited to USD 100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Ending your use
You can stop using Triptic at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account, or block access, if it breaks these terms or puts Triptic or other people at risk. We may also change or stop offering Triptic, or any part of it. The sections on your content, public sharing, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue to apply after your use ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Triptic changes. When we make a change that matters, we update the date at the top of this page and ask you to accept the new version the next time you use Triptic while signed in. Until you accept, you can still open your trips, but you cannot keep planning with your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and disputes about them go to the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel. If you use Triptic as a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live.
